Copper was returned to Woodland Brittany in mid-October, 2025, at 13 months old. He is from our GCH Triumphant Cornerstone JH x GCHS Dogwood Hollow’s Woodland River Song litter from June 9, 2024. He is up to date on shots, neutered, crate trained, house broken, knows some basic obedience commands, is super smart (learned to use our dog doors in just a couple days) and is a really sweet boy.

Copper’s 1st family reinforced all the wrong things, so Copper thinks the best way to get attention is by doing “bad” things. When I say bad things, I mean he’ll grab a shoe if left within reach, or a dish towel, and run. He’ll mouth at things he KNOWS he shouldn’t, just to get a reaction. He’s still mouthy and needs to learn more impulse control, as his 1st family’s solution seemed to be to put him outside or lock him up in the laundry room when they were home, rather than teach him to be a good puppy. He’s trying really hard, but it’s a process that his new home will probably need to repeat, just so he knows the rules.

He’s sweet and would LOVE an active family of his own…one without little kids would probably be best due to his current lack of impulse control (which we’re working hard on). He LOVES other dogs, but hasn’t learned proper socialization skills with them, which we will also be working on.

Transportation can be arranged to the right home. Copper’s rehoming fee will be in the form of a donation to American Brittany Rescue.
